There’s something truly magical about photographing a horse at liberty! No ropes, no riders, just pure, unfiltered motion. In the paddock, every toss of the mane, every flying hoof, and every glint of sunlight on muscle becomes a story for us to capture. It’s about anticipation, quick reflexes, and learning to read the horse’s body language so you can be ready for that perfect moment—the explosion of power, the playful buck, or the graceful arch of their neck. This is where photography meets instinct, and the result is pure motion turned into art. You will learn about what camera settings are needed to capture the action at its best. You will learn about seeing the most flattering moments, and when to capture them. And you will learn what it takes to set up a shoot like this, so you can do it again safely and with confidence yourself
Workshop Key Learnings:
- What camera settings are needed for action shots of horse's.
- Seeing and capturing the perfect moment of horses in action.
- Safety around horses in action and the do's and don'ts of equine action photography.
